Description

8-channel I2C multiplexer based on the TCA9548A chipset. It is designed to expand the number of I2C devices that can be connected to an I2C bus. With 8 different I2C addresses available, from 0x70 to 0x77, you can control up to 64 different I2C devices by adding further multiplexers.

The board is compact, 20x30mm (0.8×1.2in), and supports a wide operating voltage range from 1.8V to 5V, matching different logic levels. You can use the multiplexer to simplify the handling of I2C devices in complex systems, cutting the number of connection lines needed and saving I/O pins on the microcontroller.
