Description

This universal 40-pin ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket is designed to take DIP integrated circuits in both narrow body (7.62 mm / 300 mil) and wide body (15.24 mm / 600 mil) formats. Its lever mechanism lets chips be inserted and removed without applying any force, preventing bent or broken pins. The standard 2.54 mm pitch makes it compatible with most DIP microcontrollers and ICs. The high-conductivity terminals ensure a stable, reliable connection, ideal for testing, development and programming.
