AUDIO SYNCHRONISATION KIT

Set made up of a board carrying 4 RGBY LEDs of 1 watt each, an audio synchronisation board, 3 RGB LEDs of 1 watt each, 1 power supply and the connecting cables. The base board is a driver for RGBY (W) LED light effects with an audio synchronisation mode that virtually does away with the need for real-time processing software, especially in audio applications where a PC, an MP3 player, a CD or DVD player or a mobile phone can be used as the audio source. The audio input signal is filtered into four frequency bands: low (150 Hz), mid (600 Hz), upper-mid (3 kHz) and high (6 kHz). Each frequency band is assigned to a specific PWM driver. Four PWM outputs drive a red power LED, a green one, a blue one and a yellow/white one respectively. Commands can be sent through Hyper Terminal to each individual LED, to set the frequency you want and to adjust the gain of each frequency so as to change the brightness of the LEDs. LED brightness can also be controlled by the duty cycle, which is set by the amplitude of the spectrum.

  Y/W – low frequency (150 Hz)
