Description
The attenuation filter is the ideal, effective and inexpensive way to widen what a thermal camera can do without any hardware change to the original sensor. Designed specifically for situations where the object temperature exceeds the nominal 400 °C limit, this plastic accessory cuts down the incoming infrared radiation. In this way it prevents the sensor from saturating and lets it work in its best conditions.
Fitting the filter makes it possible to measure temperatures accurately up to 1000 °C. To guarantee an accurate and reliable real reading, simply apply the experimental correction factor K = 2.74 to the value returned by the instrument. An essential accessory for keeping measurement procedures going even in the toughest industrial applications.
