Description

Small 5 mW red LASER module with 650 nm wavelength and class 3R. It features a contained beam divergence and excellent visibility. It is supplied on a board with a 3-pin connector, two for power (+ and -) and 1 for enable signal (S). The LASER turns on by providing +5V to the pin marked “S”. It can also be used with Arduino or other microcontrollers.

WARNING! This laser module belongs to Class 3R and is intended exclusively for industrial use by professionals and companies with specific expertise. Machines and devices built with such laser modules must be designed and constructed to avoid unintentional radiation and require adequate protections to ensure that neither the useful radiation, nor the radiation produced by reflection (or diffusion) and secondary radiation can harm health. Devices or equipment incorporating such modules must be certified, according to the applicable regulations, before being placed on the market or put into operation. The safety measures and control means to be adopted in the adjustment and modification of lasers and/or laser apparatus are specified in the CEI EN 60825-1 and CEI 76-2 standards.
