Description

The WT1012M is a 1-channel 95 W desoldering and rework station. It combines the WT1M station and the WTMT MS desoldering tweezers in one compact bench unit, made for work on SMD components.

Tweezers with active tips

The WTMT MS tweezers grip the component with two heated tips. The RTWMS active tips have the heater built into the cartridge and come up to temperature in about 5 seconds, so picking up small and medium chips and SOPs stays quick and safe.

Digital control and ESD safety

The WT1M station controls the temperature from 50 to 450 °C with an accuracy of ±9 °C. The backlit graphic display and the menu make setting up straightforward. The system is ESD-safe and the housing is stackable.

Tips for the tweezers

The tweezers take RTWMS series active tips. The supplied pair is the RTWMS 030 K, with a 3 mm blade, suited to picking up the most common SMD components. Other packages simply call for a different spare geometry, changed without tools.

On the bench the WT1012M is meant for service and rework work: desoldering and replacing chips and SOPs, reworking boards and handling small and medium SMD components.

The WT1M station is the heart of the WT1012M. It controls the tool temperature and shows the readings on the backlit graphic display, through a menu that is simple to use.

The WTMT MS tweezers are the rework tool proper: they lift SMD components with two heated tips. The WSR 211 safety stand holds them safely when they are at rest.
