Light spectrum and applications
Why choose a Full Spectrum light?
  • Red (650~660 nm, 620-630 nm): ideal for flowering and fruiting

  • Blue (430-440 nm, 450-460 nm): the peak point for vegetative growth and absorption

  • White (6500K): simulates the ambient light plants would get if grown outdoors.

UV (380-400 nm): starts the absorption process of Chlorophyll, it sterilises and kills phytopathogenic bacteria

  • IR (730 nm): it is barely absorbed by Chlorophyll, but Phytochrome uses a good part of it. It plays an important role in flowering and germination
