GREEN LASER MODULE 20mW – 532nm

Green-emitting laser module (532 nm) for industrial use, compliant with EN60825-1

SKU 8100-LAS20EAN 8219671027069Item type: Assembled

Description

Laser module with green emission (532 nm) for industrial use, compliant with EN60825-1. Each module is tested for 200 hours of continuous emission and subjected to 300 ON/OFF cycles; each unit is supplied with its own test certificate attesting the emitted power and wavelength. The module can operate for 20 seconds without a heatsink or in continuous mode with a suitable heat-dissipating element. The module requires a supply voltage of 3 volts and a current of about 350 mA. WARNING: the external metal case is electrically connected to the positive supply.

Safety Standards

WARNING! This laser module belongs to Class 3B and is intended exclusively for industrial use by professionals and companies with specific expertise. Machines and devices built with such laser modules must be designed and constructed to avoid unintentional radiation and require adequate protections to ensure that neither useful radiation, nor radiation produced by reflection (or diffusion) and secondary radiation can harm health. Devices or equipment incorporating such modules must be certified, according to the applicable regulations, before being placed on the market or put into service. The safety measures and control means to be adopted in the adjustment and modification of lasers and/or laser apparatus are specified in the CEI EN 60825-1 and CEI 76-2 standards.
