Description

The magnetic build plate for 3D printers (for a 200×200 mm print bed) is made up of two parts:
– the magnetic base, adhesive on one side (3M), to be fixed onto the printer’s existing bed;
– the top part (flexible and magnetic) on which the object is printed and which gives an ideal printing surface, making the object stick even without using a heated bed.
The base is fixed by its adhesive side onto the print bed with the magnetic side facing upwards, while the magnetic side of the top part rests on the magnetic side of the base.
Once the object has been printed, simply lift off the top part and flex it slightly to release the printed piece easily, with no need for spatulas, scrapers, etc.
Please note: it can also be used with a heated bed provided the temperature is not above 80°C. Higher temperatures cause the loss of the magnetic property.
