Description

Laser modules with red emission (640 nm) for industrial use, compliant with EN60825-1 standards. Available in an electrically insulated anodized aluminum housing. The module requires a supply voltage between 2.5 and 5 volts and a current of about 40 mA. CAUTION: the module is sold without the lens holder mechanics (complete with diffractive optics), which can be purchased separately as code 8100-PLCROCE or 8100-PLLIN.

CAUTION! This laser module belongs to Class 3R and is intended exclusively for industrial use by professionals and companies with specific expertise. Machines and devices built with such laser modules must be designed and constructed to avoid unintentional radiation and require adequate protections to ensure that neither the useful radiation, nor the radiation produced by reflection (or diffusion) and secondary radiation can harm health. Devices or equipment incorporating such modules must be certified, according to the applicable regulations, before being placed on the market or put into operation. The safety measures and control means to be adopted in the adjustment and modification of lasers and/or laser apparatus are specified in the CEI EN 60825-1 and CEI 76-2 standards.
