I2C interface for 16×2 LCD displays

Description

Lets 16-character, 2-line LCD displays based on the HD44780 controller be driven over an I²C interface. Up to eight modules can be daisy-chained by soldering the A0-A1-A2 address pads (default 0x27). It has a jumper for switching the backlight on and a small trimmer for adjusting the contrast. Particularly useful for cutting down the number of I/O lines needed when working with Arduino or another microcontroller. Power supply: 2.5-6 Vdc, size (mm): 41.5 x 19 x 15.3, weight: 5 grams.
