Description

The LED wheel of fortune kit is a fun, interactive device 50 mm in diameter, made up of 10 LEDs. Press the button and the 10 LEDs light up quickly one after the other in sequence, creating an engaging visual effect. One of the LEDs is then picked at random and stays lit, while all the others go out.

At the heart of the circuit is an NE555-based multivibrator that generates accurately timed pulses. Those pulses are then distributed to the 10 LEDs by a decade counter/pulse distributor, the CD4017.

The kit is supplied with assembly instructions. Soldering required.
