Description

This set lets you build a two-player arcade video game station like the ones found in bars and amusement arcades in the ’80s and ’90s. It can be used with an ordinary PC over USB, or with a Raspberry Pi 3 running RetroPie or similar software, to build a retro gaming station.
With RetroPie software you can emulate many kinds of console, among them Nintendo, Game Boy, MAME, Sega Master System, Amiga, Commodore and more.

The package contains: 2 joysticks, 2 encoder boards, 16 illuminated 30 mm arcade buttons, 4 illuminated 24 mm arcade buttons, 20 leads about 18 cm long with 2 spade terminals at one end and a 2 pin connector at the other, 2 leads about 160 cm long with a USB connector at one end and a 4 pin connector at the other, 2 leads about 18 cm long with a 5 pin connector.

Used with a computer the boards are plug and play and need no driver to work. Supported systems: Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 10.

Holding memory image files belonging to the logic boards of games you do not own may be a copyright infringement. In practice it is like copying a friend’s game or music CD instead of buying it.
