Aluminium bar with 15 UVC LEDs

Rigid aluminium bar with 15 UVC LEDs, ideal for sterilising and sanitising surfaces and objects

SKU 7952-UVC15LEDBAREAN 8219671112703Item type: Assembled,

Description

Rigid aluminum bar with 15 UVC LEDs, ideal as a method for sterilizing and sanitizing surfaces and objects. Sanitization is achieved by exploiting the UVC ultraviolet light emitted by the 15 LEDs. The emitted wavelength falls within the 265–278 nm band, ensuring full germicidal and sterilizing effectiveness.

What are UVC rays?

UV rays are divided into 3 types: UVA (320-400 nm), UVB (280-320 nm), and UVC (100-280 nm). Germicidal ultraviolet irradiation (UVGI – Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) uses ultraviolet (UV) light with wavelengths in the UV-C band (between 100 and 280 nanometers).

UVC rays are not tolerated by living beings, and sufficiently long exposure to UVC rays eliminates microorganisms by destroying DNA and RNA bonds through photochemical reaction.

Warning! UVC rays are also harmful to humans, so pay the utmost attention when using these UVC LED bars and always wear protective goggles.
