SKU 8100-FR794EAN 8219671113175Brand: VgateProduct type: Automotive diagnostics,

Description

Small automotive diagnostic device that supports OBDII protocols. Plugged into the OBD port, it connects via Bluetooth to any computer, tablet, or smartphone with Android and iOS with the related app installed (downloadable from your Store). Through your smartphone or tablet you can read, view, clear error codes (DTCs), and turn off fault indicator lights. You can also view real-time vehicle performance such as: vehicle speed, fuel consumption, oil pressure, coolant temperature, intake manifold pressure, throttle position, intake air temperature, and more. You can download data to external media in various formats and print them later. The device is compatible with SAE J1850 PWM and SAE J1850 VPW protocols found on many Ford and GM vehicles. It needs no wires or power supply, as it is powered directly from the OBD port. It works on all OBD II vehicles (from 1996 onward in the USA), EOBD (gasoline cars from 2001 onward, diesel cars from 2003/2004 onward in Europe). For your vehicle to be OBD II, it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) connector and a label stating that the vehicle is OBD II.

The device is based on the ELM327 chip and works with most apps/software that can communicate with ELM interfaces. Below is a list of some compatible apps:

  • Torque
  • OBD Auto Doctor

Attention! The years indicated above refer to the vehicle’s production year (often it can also be the year of the vehicle’s restyling, because modifications are introduced due to legal requirements) and not the registration year

N.B. the product may be shipped with a different color than the photo.
