| The PoE checker runs tests on PoE equipment, both standard and non-standard: voltage, polarity, midspan or endspan; it identifies whether the PSE type (Power Sourcing Equipment – the PoE power supply) is “af” or “at” standard. It measures in real time the consumption of PD (Power Device) units powered over PoE, tests the continuity of network cables (STP and UTP), tests DC current draw, tests PoE power, runs loop-back tests, and has an LED to light up the area being tested.
The pack includes: the PoE checker (control unit and terminator), a soft carrying case for the instrument, a lead with a DC plug, a network lead, a lead with an RJ11 connector, a lead with an RJ11 connector and crocodile clips (red and black), instructions. |
