Description

Thanks to its 8 MP sensor and its 4 mm lens, this camera delivers 4K Ultra HD images with outstanding clarity and a wide viewing angle of up to 96°. Detail stays sharp even in poor lighting, thanks to 120 dB WDR technology, which balances bright and shaded areas to avoid images that are overexposed or too dark.

At night, security is assured by intelligent night vision: in the default mode, the camera uses infrared light to monitor the area. As soon as it detects movement, it switches automatically to white light, letting you clearly see the colours of objects and people. You can also choose between IR only mode for discreet surveillance or white light only for full-colour visibility at all times.

One of this camera’s strong points is its advanced person and vehicle detection, which uses artificial intelligence to distinguish between people, cars and insignificant movement such as animals or branches swaying in the wind. That means fewer false alarms and more relevant notifications straight to your smartphone.

For even more complete control, the camera has a noise-reducing microphone able to record audio clearly from as far as 6 metres away. If you would rather not record audio, you can easily switch it off to protect privacy.

Thanks to its PoE (Power over Ethernet) connection, installation is simple and tidy: a single cable carries both power and data. Alternatively, you can power it from a standard DC 12V adapter. Compatibility with the RTSP protocol also lets you integrate it with third-party NVRs and software, giving you total flexibility in managing your video surveillance system.

Built to stand up to any weather, the camera has a tough metal and plastic body and an IP67 rating, which makes it completely waterproof and able to work even in extreme conditions, at temperatures from -30°C to 60°C.

For recording footage, you can save video to a microSD card of up to 256 GB (not included), avoiding monthly cloud costs. You can also customise the motion detection zones, receiving instant notifications only for the areas that matter most to you, such as your front door or the garage.

With the 4K PoE IP security camera, you have everything you need for advanced, reliable surveillance, with ultra-detailed images, smart notifications and quick, simple installation. Perfect for anyone after effective protection with no compromises!

It has a built-in WebServer that allows configuration and viewing from any web browser.

The camera can be used together with an NVR (Annke, or ONVIF-compatible and able to work at a resolution of 8Mpx), or on its own by fitting a microSD card and using the Annke Vision App to view from a smartphone.

Key features

Capture the Smallest Details Even at Night with Intelligent Dual Light

Intelligent Dual Light mode by default: when filming at night, the camera uses infrared light to pinpoint the subject precisely. The moment movement is detected, the white light comes on automatically and infrared mode is switched off, giving colour images of extraordinary clarity.
You can select infrared or white light mode to suit different lighting conditions perfectly and to give an exceptional viewing experience even in the most demanding situations.

4K Ultra HD Resolution

The 4 mm lens, paired with the high-end 1/2.4″ Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, gives a field of view of up to 96° and guarantees the best 4K Ultra HD footage in any setting. Advanced image enhancement algorithms, including 120 dB of WDR, 3D DNR, BLC and HLC, allow the camera to capture breathtaking 4K images at any light level.

Person and Vehicle Detection

The advanced person and vehicle detection function identifies people and vehicles only, helping to reduce unwanted alarms caused by animals or by inanimate objects such as swaying branches, falling leaves, raindrops and the like.

Real-Time Notifications

Notifications are sent immediately, as soon as suspicious movement is detected, allowing a prompt response to any intrusion.
Thanks to advanced artificial intelligence, people, vehicles and random movement are told apart accurately, avoiding false alarms caused by animals or objects moved by the wind. On top of that, the detection zones can be customised, so that you receive alerts only when someone enters sensitive areas, such as your front door or the drive.

Noise-Cancelling Audio

The built-in noise-cancelling microphone automatically filters out ambient sound, picking up voices even from 6 metres away.
Listening: Audio recording strengthens your security coverage and your reading of events, letting you record video with vivid sound instead of silent footage.
Mute Function: Audio recording may be subject to local regulations. If audio surveillance is not permitted, or you would rather not record audio, simply switch on the mute function.

H.265+ Video Format

ANNKE’s H.265+ encoding lets the camera record longer video while using less storage.

Weatherproof

Built to the IP67 standard, this IP camera guarantees excellent performance even when submerged in 1 metre of water for 30 minutes.
Tested in extreme conditions, in both very hot and very cold environments (-30 °C – 60 °C / -22 °F – 140 °F), it carries on recording in outstanding 4K Ultra HD, with no blurring or distortion of the image.

FAQ
  • I have added the camera to my ONVIF-compatible DVR/NVR, but I get no picture from the camera
The DVR/NVR probably does not work at a resolution of 8MPx (4K), so check the configuration of the recording system. If necessary, once the camera has been added through the Annke Vision App, you can open the camera’s own configuration and change the video resolution.
If the recorder has a very old ONVIF protocol, it may not be compatible with the more up-to-date version on the camera.
  • The camera is not visible on the network
The camera is configured at the factory in DHCP mode, so the router will assign it an IP address automatically. If that does not happen, check that there are still free addresses in the DHCP mapping. If there is room for new devices, try resetting the camera.
  • How do I reset the camera?
Undo the two screws of the microSD compartment, then, with the camera powered, press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds, then release it. The camera will restart and be restored to its factory settings.
  • When the camera is connected through the PoE port, it is not visible on the network
Make sure the PoE port is not overloaded.
  • When connected to an NVR, the NVR reports incorrect motion events
Since it is the NVR that handles motion, you need to open the camera’s control panel and switch off the motion events.
