Description

Automatic switching battery charger for 12V and 24V WET-AGM-GEL-VRLA lead-acid batteries and for 12V LiFePO4 batteries. It recharges the batteries of motorcycles, cars, ride-on mowers, campers, trucks, earth-moving machinery and so on, keeping them 100% charged over long periods. Microcontroller-controlled, it handles diagnosis, reconditioning (regeneration), charging and float maintenance completely on its own, and checks battery health. It also has a winter charging mode. Supplied complete with a ring-terminal battery lead and a crocodile-clip battery lead.

Fault protection
Thanks to an excellent electronic system, this charger constantly monitors what is happening at its output terminals. In the event of an open circuit, a short circuit, a reverse-polarity connection to the battery, a sudden voltage drop or any other fault, the charger immediately stops any charging process. For maximum safety, the charger only delivers power to its output once it has been correctly connected to a battery and that battery has passed the first-stage charging test.
