SMT (Surface Mount Technology) male TYPE-C connector, ideal for replacing damaged charging ports or for updating components and projects that need a USB 3.1 type “C” connection. The advantage of a TYPE-C connector is that the orientation does not matter when you plug it in: with a type “C” the cable goes in either way round, unlike other USB connectors that have to be inserted one specific way.
