Description
| Compact, inexpensive board that drives LED matrix panels efficiently and flexibly thanks to the ESP32 microcontroller. The WiFi and Bluetooth interfaces built into the ESP32 module let you put the panels online and fit them into more complex IoT systems. You can extend what this board does with dedicated sensors such as gyroscopes/accelerometers, set the brightness automatically with sensors such as photoresistors, build custom clocks, show images and 3D animations, and program it all with the Arduino IDE or ESP-IDF/PlatformIO. The ESP32 chip draws little power and has plenty of memory; with the right changes to the code you can drive several ESP32 boards and therefore several LED matrix panels. This system is more compact and more versatile than similar ones and suits a wide range of applications and smart solutions. The board connects to the LED matrix through a 16-way flat cable and needs an external 5 Vdc supply. Warning! The ESP32 module, the RGB LED graphic panels and the power supply are not included (see related products). |
