Description

Made up of a microswitch and a status LED, this small module is meant to be used as a filament runout detector on 3D printers, wherever the printer’s electronics allow it to be wired in. The module works by changing the level of its output. When the material to be extruded runs out, the module switches the signal from high to low and, if the function is enabled in the printer’s firmware, pauses printing until the filament has been replaced.
