Description

An original electronic kit with 73 LEDs arranged in a star, designed to create a striking light effect like a firework. The LEDs light up in sequence from the central one outwards, giving a lively, spectacular animation.

The circuit uses an NE555 timer wired as an astable oscillator to generate the clock pulses the CD4017 counter needs; the counter then drives the groups of LEDs one after another through dedicated transistors. The LEDs are arranged in 9 rays of 8 LEDs each, in different colours to make the effect even more realistic.

Ideal for electronics enthusiasts, makers, students and teaching projects, it is a hands-on way to see how oscillators, CMOS counters and LED driver circuits work.

Soldering is required to assemble it. The kit is supplied complete with assembly instructions.
