Description

The MCP39F511N from Microchip Technology is a low-power SMD electrical energy meter (Power Monitor IC), ideal for electrical system designers and hardware engineers. Designed to provide precise measurement of electrical energy parameters such as voltage, current, active and reactive power, frequency, etc., the device is particularly suitable for industrial and consumer applications.

Equipped with 24-bit Delta-Sigma analog-to-digital converters for dual-channel current measurement, a 10-bit SAR analog-to-digital converter for voltage, a 16-bit calculation engine, an EEPROM memory, and a flexible two-wire interface, the MCP39F511N offers accuracy better than 0.5% over a 4000:1 dynamic range.
