Description

The Microchip MGC3130 3D gesture tracking and recognition controller is the first three-dimensional (3D) gesture tracking and recognition controller based on electric field (E-field). Based on Microchip’s patented GestIC® technology, the chip allows users to interact with their devices through intuitive hand and finger movements in a completely free space. The integrated Colibri suite from Microchip reduces processing requirements and power consumption and speeds up development times. The Microchip MGC3130 provides gesture information as well as real-time hand position data, enabling a new generation of user interfaces in various sectors. Configurable detection states allow power consumption suitable for mobile devices, with a minimum value of only 150 microwatts.
