Mini Voice Recorder with PIC and EEPROM

Essentially an SPC01 with some parts removed and others added

SKU 7100-SPC02EAN 8219671017374Item type: Kit

Description

It is essentially an SPC01 with some parts removed and others added. In particular, to reduce cost and size, it was decided to mount only two of the four EEPROM memories and to use a single sampling frequency of 8 ksps; this still allows recording up to a maximum of 65 seconds of speech.
In place of these components, a microphone preamplifier and a speaker driver with volume control have been added to minimize the module’s size and the number of external components required for operation: in the end, the circuit, to work fully, requires only a microphone, a speaker, three pushbuttons, and power.
The user interface is now much simpler as some of the many functions implemented in the SPC01 module have been removed: only a simplified set of commands designed for easy and immediate use has been left.
In fact, it is possible to record only two messages, each playable via a specific pushbutton command; the two red and green indicator LEDs are still present, and it is possible, as in the more complete version, to clone the memories via a serial interface and a PC.
