Description

The VS1011E is an MPEG audio decoding chip produced by VLSI. It contains a high-performance, low-power DSP processor (VS DSP4), 5.5 kBytes of RAM, headphone output, bass and treble control, etc. The VS1011E receives the bitstream through a serial bus. The data stream is decoded and passed through digital control. Decoding is managed via the serial bus. In addition to basic decoding, user applications such as DSP effects can be added directly into RAM. Package: SOIC28. Dimensions: 18.12 x 10 x 2.5 mm.
