Thermoelectric Peltier Module (TEG) 5.4 V – 1 A
SKU 1560-TPM5WEAN 8219671080576Item type: AssembledPeltier cells
Description
Thermoelectric Peltier module (TEG) that converts a heat source into electricity. Made of Bi-Te alloy (bismuth telluride), it can be used with a maximum constant temperature of 330°C and intermittently up to 400°C. The module generates a DC voltage by exploiting the temperature difference induced on its two sides. To withstand high temperatures, the module is insulated on both ends with graphite foils. To generate a potential difference, one side of the module must be heated while the other is simultaneously cooled. The greater the temperature difference across the two sides, the higher the output voltage (Max 5.4 Vdc – 1 A).
