SKU 8100-FR772EAN 8219671109666Brand: VgateProduct type: Automotive diagnostics,

Description

Handheld automotive diagnostic device supporting OBDII protocols. It features a large 3-inch LCD display with high contrast, allowing you to read, view, clear error codes (DTC), and turn off malfunction indicator lights.

It is also possible to view real-time vehicle performance data such as vehicle speed, fuel consumption, oil pressure, coolant temperature, intake manifold pressure, throttle position, intake air temperature, and more.

The device is compatible with SAE J1850 PWM and SAE J1850 VPW protocols found on many Ford and GM vehicles. It does not require external power as it is powered directly from the OBD port (the device is not self-powered). Compatible with all vehicles equipped with an OBD-II port (from 1996 onwards in the USA), EOBD (gasoline cars from 2001 onwards, diesel cars from 2003/2004 onwards in Europe). The device comes with a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) OBD-II connection cable; if the vehicle does not have this connector, a specific adapter will be required.

Multilingual user interface, supports up to 13 languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese, Hebrew, German, French, Finnish, English, Dutch, Danish, and Chinese).

Compliant with ISO 15031 and SAE J1979.

Usable in operating modes from $01 ~ $09.

The device provides information on generic DTC codes (P0, P2, P3, B0, U0, and C0) and manufacturer-specific codes (P1, P3, B1, B2, U1, and C1, C2).

The detailed DTC library provides information for 80% of all DTCs, showing the probable cause for the error code.

  • Full CAN BUS support, also for latest generation cars
  • CAN 11-bit and 29-bit
  • Communicates with the multi-ECU system

Warning: This device does not allow resetting the scheduled service light. The USB port it is equipped with is not managed in this version.
