Description

The VS1053B is an audio decoding chip for Ogg Vorbis/MP3/AAC/WMA/MIDI produced by VLSI. It contains a high-performance, low-power DSP processor (VS DSP4), 16 KiB of instruction RAM and 0.5 KiB of RAM for user applications, headphone output, bass and treble control, etc. The VS1053B receives the bitstream through a serial bus. The data stream is decoded and passed through a digital control. Decoding is managed via the serial bus. In addition to basic decoding, user applications such as DSP effects can be added directly into RAM. Package: LQFP-48. Dimensions: 7 x 7 x 1.4 mm.
