FLEXINOL – Diameter 0.37 micrometers L=1 m
SKU 7250-FLEX037EAN 8219671017688Item type: AssembledActuators
Description
Flexinol is a metal wire made from a special Nickel-Titanium alloy that, when current passes through it or it is simply heated, shortens in length and can move or lift an object completely silently. Applications range from robotics to surgery, from industrial automation to military uses. The pack includes an LT-type (70°C) wire with a diameter of 0.37 micrometers and a length of 1 meter, which can be cut to size.
Warning: to avoid damaging the wire, carefully follow the instructions below:
1) Remove power immediately once the wire has contracted.
2) Do not apply a load greater than that shown in the table.
