Description

Keep your plants well cared for in a practical, smart way with this automatic watering system for indoor plants. The system uses a moisture sensor to detect when the soil becomes dry and automatically activates the water pump, giving your plants just the right amount of water they need.

The watering system consists of a PCB moisture probe that can easily be inserted into the soil of the plant pot. The probe is connected to a moisture sensor based on the LM393 IC, which continuously monitors the soil moisture. When the sensor detects that the soil is dry, the relay board kicks in, activating the 5V pump to start watering.

What’s more, our system offers the flexibility to integrate with an Arduino board (purchasable separately). Using Arduino, you can add advanced, custom features to the watering system.
For example, you can create a watering system that only activates at set times or on set days. You can program the system to water in the morning and evening, when plants benefit most from water, or set specific days of the week on which watering takes place.
