Description

This water level sensor is essentially a float switch. It is used to monitor the level of liquids inside tanks, basins, etc. It consists of a float made of expanded polypropylene that moves – as the liquid level varies – along a cylindrical body inside which a reed contact is housed. When the liquid reaches the preset level, the reed contact changes state (see image below), allowing a signal to be sent to the control system.
