Description

Breakout board built around the infrared (non-contact) temperature sensor MLX90614. Used with Arduino or any other microcontroller, over the I²C interface, it can read ambient temperatures between -40°C and +125°C and object temperatures between -70°C and +380°C. It has a 90-degree field of view, an accuracy of 0.5°C over a wide temperature range and a measurement resolution of 0.02°C. It can be used for medical and healthcare applications, home automation, or measuring surfaces in a non-invasive way, and so on.
