Description

This board with an MQ-5 LPG gas sensor detects LPG, natural gas and town gas in the air at concentrations between 200 and 10,000 ppm. This type of sensor is almost immune to interference from cooking fumes, cigarette smoke and alcohol. It offers high sensitivity and very fast response times. The board carries a trimmer for setting the load resistance value, an analogue output (AOUT) and a digital output (TTL). The digital output can be wired straight to a microcontroller.
