Description

Made up of a probe on a PCB and a small module built around the LM393 IC, it reads the percentage of moisture in the soil, for instance in a flower pot. When the moisture percentage in the soil is below a set threshold, the DO output goes to a high logic level; when the percentage rises above the set threshold, the D0 output goes to a low logic level. Particularly suited to building an automatic watering device.
