Description

Module for Raspberry Pi with a camera sensitive to infrared radiation, 1/4″ Omnivision OV5647 sensor with 5 megapixel resolution, 3.6 mm focal length, 75.7° field of view and 2 3-watt LEDs with infrared emission (850 nm). It takes stills at a resolution of 2592×1944 pixels and HD video in 1080p at 30 fps, letting users of the Raspberry Pi Model B and B+ boards build video applications. The module plugs into the CSI connector and is controlled over the I²C bus. Its extended spectral response makes it suitable for special applications such as infragrams (for monitoring plant health), astrophotography, night-time security and filming the night-time life of wild animals (these last two need infrared illumination).

N.B. Raspberry Pi not included.
