Laser sensor board

This compact module uses a LASER as the transmitter and a phototransistor as the receiver. The beam emitted by the transmitter is reflected by the surface in front of it and hits the lens of the receiver (the lens focuses the reflected light onto the phototransistor), turning the phototransistor on

Description

This small module uses a LASER as transmitter and a phototransistor as receiver. The beam emitted by the transmitter is reflected by the surface in front of it and hits the lens (which focuses the reflected light onto the phototransistor) of the receiver, driving the phototransistor into conduction. The receiver only detects the reflected light emitted by the LASER, preventing interference from other light sources. This module can be used to detect obstacles, as a piece counter, etc.
