Description

Module with an infrared reflection sensor (ST188), LM393 voltage comparator, trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, analog and digital outputs. The sensor consists of an infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor. The beam emitted by the transmitter reflects off the surface in front and hits the receiver, turning on the phototransistor. Particularly suitable for use in robotics as an obstacle detector. Power supply: 3 Vdc to 5.3 Vdc, dimensions (mm): 25×15.9.
