The device integrates a 20,000mAh lithium-ion battery that offers up to 30 days of autonomy in continuous tracking mode (1 point every 10 seconds) and up to 120 days in hibernation mode. This means the device can operate for a long time without needing to be recharged. It also has an IP65 protection rating, making it resistant to water splashes and dust.

The tracker offers multiple features:

• Function Overspeed alarm that notifies the user when the vehicle exceeds the preset speed.
• Function Geo-fence that lets you set a virtual zone on the map and receive a notification when the vehicle leaves or enters that zone.
• Function Vibration alarm, which automatically detects accidents or damage to the vehicle thanks to the built-in 3D acceleration sensor.
• Function Voice monitor, the device integrates a high-sensitivity microphone that allows ambient listening near the device. This means the user can listen to real-time audio when needed. Function available on the 4G network via VoLTE technology.
• Function Movement alarm, which sends an alert when the vehicle carrying the device is moving. This means the user can be immediately notified in the event of theft or unauthorized movement of the vehicle.
• Function Historical route playback that stores movements from the last 6 months, with the ability to search them by date and view them on the map.
• Function Blind Network with memory that saves coordinates (5000 points) when there is no internet network. Saved coordinates will be automatically uploaded as soon as network coverage becomes available again
• Low battery alarm: the tracker sends an alert via APP or WEB platform in case of low battery.

The package includes the tracker, the user manual, the USB Type-C cable.

Important! For ambient listening via the Voice monitor function, you need a SIM card with data and voice traffic compatible with VoLTE technology. Check with your mobile operator that this technology is available for the SIM you are using. Without this service, ambient listening would not be possible when connected to the 4G network.

It does not have an SOS alarm button.

  • GNSS: Global Navigation Satellite System, which refers to global satellite navigation systems such as GPS (Global Positioning System), GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and Galileo. These systems use a constellation of satellites to calculate the device’s position on Earth.
  • AGPS: Assisted Global Positioning System, a technology that assists GPS using additional information provided by a cellular network. This information can include ephemeris data (predicted satellite position) and information about cellular network base stations, which can speed up GPS signal acquisition time and improve position accuracy.
  • LBS: Location-Based Services, refers to location-based services that use a variety of technologies to determine a device’s position, such as GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular networks. These services offer features such as navigation, asset tracking, location information and much more.

It can operate in three different modes: Tracking mode, Power saving mode and Hibernation mode.
These three different operating modes can help extend battery life.

• Vibration: the tracker integrates a 3D acceleration sensor that allows it to send an alert via APP or WEB platform in the event of accidents or damage to the vehicle. It works when the vehicle is parked.
• Movement: The tracker lets you set a zone within which the vehicle can move. For example, if a limit of 500 meters is set and the vehicle moves outside this limit, the device sends an SOS alert to the preset phone numbers. This allows you to be promptly notified in case of vehicle theft or unauthorized movement.
• Geo-fence: lets you set a virtual zone around a specific geographic location. This zone is defined as a “safety circle” and represents an area within which you want to keep the monitored device or person. When the GPS device enters or exits this zone, the user will receive a notification via SMS. The geo-fence function is very useful for monitoring people or objects that should not leave a certain area. For example, parents can set a geo-fence around their children’s school to be notified when the children leave the school area. Similarly, companies can use geo-fences to monitor their vehicles or equipment.
• Low battery: the tracker sends an alert via APP or WEB platform in case of low battery.

The micodus.net web platform and its associated free app allow you to efficiently manage either a single GPS device or a fleet of devices. Thanks to these solutions, you can monitor the position and activity of multiple devices in real time simultaneously, giving you full control over your fleet.

To use the platform and app, you need to register.
If you want to manage a fleet, you need to register all the devices to be tracked using their IMEI/ID, then create an account using a Username and a Password, and finally add the previously created trackers.
If instead you want to manage a single device, simply register by entering the device’s IMEI/ID code and a Password.
