Important! To use ambient listening via the Voice monitor function, you need a SIM card with data and voice service compatible with VoLTE technology. Contact your mobile carrier to confirm that this technology is available for your SIM. Without this service, ambient listening will not be possible while connected to the 4G network.
GPS (Global Positioning System): a satellite positioning system that uses a network of satellites to accurately determine the device’s position on the Earth’s surface.
GLONASS: operated by Russia, it offers global coverage and provides positioning data to devices that use it, such as vehicle GPS trackers. Combining GLONASS with GPS gives greater accuracy and reliability in determining the device’s position.
BEIDOU: a positioning system developed and operated by China that has provided full global coverage since 2020, delivering highly precise information alongside GPS. To date, the BeiDou system has signed a joint statement on compatibility and interoperability with the GPS system and the “GLONASS” system, and has coordinated frequencies with the Galileo system.
LBS (Location-Based Services): a technology that uses the phone’s cellular network to determine the device’s approximate position. In practice, it uses the position of mobile network cell antennas to triangulate the device’s location.

Fleet management, single-device management, and creating a new account
The micodus.net web platform and its companion free app let you efficiently manage either a single GPS device or an entire fleet. With these tools, you can monitor the position and activity of multiple devices in real time, giving you full control over your fleet.
To use the platform and the app, you need to register.
If you want to manage a fleet, you need to register every device to be tracked via its IMEI/ID and then create an account using a Username and a Password, and add the previously registered trackers.
If instead you want to manage a single device, simply register using the device’s IMEI/ID code and a Password.

4G and 2G Network Coverage
The GPS tracker features two network technologies: 4G LTE Cat1 and 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE. 4G LTE Cat1 technology provides faster data transmission and a more stable connection, while 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE is more common and widespread in many countries around the world, especially developing ones. Using both network technologies in your GPS tracker increases the device’s compatibility with telecommunications networks available in different countries, ensuring stable, reliable operation.

Saving GPS Data in Areas without Network Coverage
Without a network connection, the device disconnects from the server, but GPS navigation data is saved in its built-in memory. Once the network signal is restored, the saved data is uploaded to the tracking server.
Multiple Built-in Alarm Functions
Overspeed: when the preset speed is exceeded the tracker sends an alarm message via the app or web platform and an SOS to the preset phone numbers. This function is very useful if you want to monitor the speed of the vehicle the device is installed on,
Vibration: the tracker has a built-in 3D acceleration sensor that lets it send an alarm, via APP or WEB platform in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle. It works while the vehicle is parked.
Movement: the tracker lets you set a zone within which the vehicle can be moved. For example, if a 500-meter limit is set and the vehicle is moved beyond this limit, the device sends an SOS alarm to the preset phone numbers. This allows you to be promptly notified in the event of vehicle theft or unauthorized movement.
Geo-fence: lets you set up a virtual zone around a specific geographic location. This zone is defined as a “safety circle” and represents an area within which you want to keep the device or monitored person. When the GPS device enters or exits this zone, the user receives a notification via SMS. The geo-fence function is very useful for monitoring people or objects that should not leave a certain area. For example, parents can set up a geo-fence around their children’s school to be notified when the children leave the school area. Likewise, companies can use geo-fences to monitor their vehicles or equipment.

Engine On/Off: this device features a protection system that sends an alarm notification via the mobile app if the vehicle’s engine is started or turned off without authorization.
