Description

Based on the Allegro ACS712ELCTR-05B-T chip, this current sensor can measure AC or DC currents between 0 and 5 A. It has 3 pins (supply and analogue output) and a 2-way terminal block to which the load is connected, exactly as with a conventional ammeter. The output gives 185 mV for every amp measured, and 2.5 V when the current is zero. Power supply: 5 Vdc, Vout: 185 mV/A, measuring range: 0 to 5 A.
