Amplified microwave motion sensor
SKU 2846-HB100AQEAN 8219671107273Item type: AssembledSensors, Sensors
Description
Compact module integrating a microwave motion sensor based on the Doppler effect, a signal amplification section (not present in the sensor alone), two status LEDs, and a trimmer for adjusting the detection distance from 2 to 16 meters. It consists of a transmitting and a receiving section. As soon as the sensor is powered, it sends a train of pulses at a frequency of 10.525 GHz (low power); when they encounter an object, the received pulse train will be greater or lesser depending on the distance. It can be used for automatic opening of doors and electric gates, automatic lighting, etc. Adjustable detection range from 2 to approximately 16 meters. When the unit does not detect any presence, the signal assumes a stable value of about 4.2V, while in case of detection, the output signal will go to 0V (square wave). The output is not timed, so a timer will need to be coupled to it if you want to automatically activate a load; otherwise, it can only be used as a detection sensor.
