Description

Reliable, compact and low-consumption: this PIR sensor with TTL output is the ideal answer for automation projects, alarm systems, home automation and battery-powered devices. With detection up to 7 metres over a wide 120° angle, it is perfect for picking up movement in homes or workplaces.

With two selectable trigger modes and a delay time set from 0.3 to 180 seconds with a trimmer, it offers maximum flexibility in use. The TTL digital output (high level 3.3V / low 0V) makes it compatible with microcontrollers and development boards such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and the like.

It runs from a supply between 5V and 12V and draws just 65µA at rest, which makes it ideal for battery-powered devices too. The compact design, with only three pins (VCC, GND, OUT), makes it easy to fit into any project.

Technical specifications

  • 2 trigger modes (selectable with a jumper):
    A. non-repeatable trigger mode: when the sensor detects movement the output goes high (TTL 3.3V); once the set delay time has passed the output goes back from high to low on its own.
    B. Repeatable trigger mode: when the sensor detects movement the output goes high (TTL 3.3V) and stays there for as long as the sensor keeps detecting movement.
