Description

Handheld True RMS digital multimeter with a 6000-count capability, notable for its high reliability and safety. The instrument has a large backlit LCD display that includes a high-resolution 31-segment analogue bar. Thanks to full-scale overload protection and to its design, it makes a practical measuring instrument for the hobbyist and the professional alike.

The multimeter can measure AC/DC voltages and currents, resistance, diodes, continuity, capacitance and frequency. It also offers a data hold function, relative measurement, low-battery indication, backlight, auto power-off and NCV.

Main features
  • True RMS: the multimeter measures the RMS value of voltages or currents accurately, whatever the waveform.
  • Data hold/backlight: the multimeter can store measurement data and has a backlight so the readings can be seen in poor light too.
  • Max/Min/Relative mode: the multimeter can measure and show the maximum and minimum values of the voltages or currents it reads, and has a relative mode to work out the differences between measurements.
  • USB interface: the multimeter can talk to a computer or another device over a USB connection, so measurement data can be transferred or dedicated software used.
  • Input protection: the multimeter is designed with a protection system that prevents damage from overvoltage and overcurrent while measurements are being taken.
  • Diode/continuity test: the multimeter can be used to test diodes and to check continuity in electrical circuits, giving a specific signal when the test passes or fails.
  • NCV (audible/visual alarm): the multimeter has a non-contact voltage (NCV) detection function that warns the user visually or with a sound when electrical voltage is detected, without physically touching the cables or the electrical components.
