Description

Sensors of proximity composed of a voltage comparator chip, an infrared transmitter and receiver, a trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, analog and digital outputs, two status LEDs for power and output signal. It can detect an obstacle at a distance between 2 and 30 cm (depending on the obstacle’s color) with a detection angle of 25°. Power supply: from 3.3 V to 5 V, dimensions (mm): 30×15.5. Particularly suitable for use as a proximity sensor for robots or other devices.

Note: the robot (Alphabot) visible in the photo is not included.
