Description

Intercepting an electrical conductor while drilling a hole in a wall with a drill can have catastrophic consequences. Similarly, drilling into gas, water, or heating pipes can be extremely risky. Now, with a portable detector, it is possible to determine in advance the presence of metallic objects in the wall, ceiling, or floor. An LED will indicate their presence nearby. If an audible signal is also desired, a 12 Vdc buzzer (not included) can be installed in the designated seat on the printed circuit board. The latter has been specifically sized to fit inside the G407 enclosure, available separately.
