Build your own compact audio system with this self-assembly kit made up of a pair of 3W amplifiers with a built-in 5-LED VU meter.
The kit includes two 4Ω 3W loudspeakers, a smart clear box and all the cables needed to wire it up.

Perfect for anyone who enjoys building their own gear, this system uses the 8002A chip for amplification and the KA2284 to drive the VU meter, delivering clear, dynamic sound. Each board has one trimmer to set the volume and one to set the music level of the VU meter.

It is powered over USB 5V, which makes the kit ideal for use with a PC, a laptop or USB power adapters. Once assembled, the system can be used as a set of powered computer speakers, giving you bigger sound in a compact, eye-catching design.

📢 Please note: as well as the usual through-hole parts, there is one SMD chip that needs careful soldering.
