150 W RMS Hi-Fi audio power amplifier at 4 ohms

150 W RMS Hi-Fi audio power amplifier into a 4 ohm load. Ideal for driving high-efficiency speakers in professional or home systems.

SKU 7100-FT1742KEAN 8219671081511Item type: Assembled, Kit

Description

Audio power amplifier capable of delivering a continuous power of 150 W RMS into a 4 ohm load and 95 W RMS into an 8 ohm load (measured at 1 kHz), designed for professional applications and large venues.

The amplifier has a voltage gain of about 20, an input impedance of 45 kohm and an input sensitivity of 1.45 Veff on 8 ohm and 1.5 Veff on 4 ohm to reach maximum rated power.

The bandwidth extends from 10 Hz to 50 kHz (-3 dB), ensuring a wide, linear frequency response suited to complex audio signals. The required power supply is ±46 Vdc, with a maximum current draw of 6.1 A on 4 ohm and 3.45 A on 8 ohm.

The mechanical structure is solid and designed for intensive use, ensuring reliable operation even under continuous load. The amplifier is suitable for driving high-efficiency speakers (≥90 dB SPL) in settings such as gyms, dance halls, conference rooms or fixed installations.

Important note: The heat sink shown in the images is not included in the kit. To ensure adequate heat dissipation, we recommend using the ADIS69X200 model (see related products). Alternatively, a heat sink with equivalent or higher performance can be used, capable of properly dissipating the heat generated by the power output stages.

Soldering required for assembly. The kit comes complete with instructions.

Choosing the heat sink

Hi-Fi audio power amplifier, 150W RMS at 4 ohm
The image shows the power amplifier fitted with the heat sink, product code ADIS69X200, listed among the related products, featuring a thermal resistance of 1.4 °C/W, suitable for the correct operation of the Toshiba output transistors. The heat sink is not included in the kit and must be selected and installed by the user according to the specific mounting and ventilation conditions. It is essential to use a heat sink with equivalent or higher thermal performance, to be fastened directly to the output transistors using M3 screws, with thermal paste and, if necessary, electrical insulators, depending on the type of enclosure used. The physical dimensions of the heat sink may vary, provided they ensure adequate dissipation of the heat produced.

What this kit includes
The kit includes all the electronic components needed to assemble the amplifier module, including resistors, capacitors, trimmers, signal and power transistors, terminal blocks and the printed circuit board.

Important note: the heat sink and power supply are not included in the kit and must be purchased separately. Both are available in our shop (see the related products for this item).
