Dual DC Motor Driver 30 A – 4 control modes
SKU 1686-MDDS30EAN 8219671099264Item type: AssembledControl electronics
Description
Compact power driver capable of driving 2 DC motors with a supply voltage between 7 Vdc and 35 Vdc and a max current of 30 A per channel.
It can be controlled in RC mode (hobby receiver), Analog/PWM from a microcontroller (Arduino or other), Simplified Serial (UART) and Serial Packetized (UART in 4-byte packets).
It features a terminal block for motor and power connections, two test buttons per channel, inputs for external control, and status LEDs for Power, Error, and Running status (left and right channel).
It can be powered with a NiMH or NiCd 6โ18 cell battery, LiPo or Li-Ion 3โ6 cell battery, 7 V โ 35 V lead-acid battery, or 7 V โ 35 V power supply.
Particularly suitable for robotics, automation, hobby, etc.
MDDS30 control via analog joystick in mixed analog mode
MDDS30 control using Arduino and independent PWM mode
Uses
In RC mode, motor speed and direction are controlled by the signal from the RC transmitter and receiver or from a microcontroller generating a similar signal.

Connection with Arduino or CT UNO and Base Shield V2.
PWM mode with microcontroller (both independent inputs).
