Omnidirectional mechanical motion sensor capable of detecting displacement, tilt, or vibration. The contact is normally closed at rest; when movement or tilt is applied, the contact opens. Fully sealed, dustproof, and long-lasting, it can be a valid replacement for mercury switches. Suitable for vibration detection in automotive applications, household appliances, toys, etc.
